What the club says: Golf de Pals, built in a large pine forest next to the Pals beach, is a course all types of player from the least skilled to the most experienced can get excited about. Over its 50 years of history, numerous professional and amateur national and European tournaments have been played there. Most importantly, the PGA European Circuit started off at Golf de Pals in 1972 with Spain's 46th Open. The first holes are quite short; with narrow fairways, slight doglegs, very deep bunkers protecting the greens and hundred-year-old pine trees lining the edges, they require high precision play. From the 12th hole, the holes are longer and with a more continental style. The fairways get wider and the greens are more generous.

Precision is the goal

Golf course is technical has 4 doglegs 2 on right, long and complicated on the 5th and 12th and two others on the left that require a good start to go to difficult greens on 7 and 17th

Pine Forest gem

A super course, tough off the tee with a premium on accuracy. Very small greens but you are usually hitting in with lofted clubs if you get a good drive away.

Played at Platja de Pals for the last 5 years and always enjoyed it. The course is very fair , not too long but always in good condition when we play it in May. The staff, both in the office and the bar are always pleasant and the course is always included in our itinerary on our annual visit to the Costa Brava.
