Amazing Golf Resort - Go there !
Gramacho and Vale da Pinta are two adjacent courses which are part of the Pestana Golf Resort. There are other courses associated with Pestana but these two are next to the residences where most people stay. Gramacho is the best in my opinion, a fantastic layout and a lovely first hole to start your round. The quality of the greens was amazing and the fairways were like carpets. Vale da Pinta is a harder slog, lots of climbs and the walk from 18 to the clubhouse is a killer up hill ... but you have to play it just for hole 13 ... can you reach the green ??Reviewer Rating

PESTANA RESORT PORTUGAL
GRAMACHO - where we were staying for this break the course was very lovely and very green and a challenge for our fourball - if you play well here you can score very well! The sand in the bunkers were class - the resort itself was absolutely brilliant. The other courses we played were Vale de Pinta and Silves.(Round played: May 2017 - Score: 89 Handicap: 18.6)

Nice Course and well worth a visit

Nice course worth playing
Second time playing La Pinta, course in good condition, very quiet. A bit fiddly in places, not always a driver off the tee. Greens good, rolled well if a little hard to read. Nice clubhouse for after round pint.Reviewer Rating

played Pinta and Gramacho courses, Both very different, They are challenging but not overly difficult. The only slight problem we had. is that, we had pre booked buggies prior to travelling and when we arrived at the courses, We were told that buggies were not guaranteed. due to numbers. We did actually get buggies but it would have been a problem. if we had not.

Gramacho was in pretty good condition for our early May visit. Greens, fairways, tee boxes and bunker all looking good and clearly well maintained. The staff are excellent and happy to have a laugh and joke with the patrons. We played as a fourball and managed to get two buggies, pace of play (14:30 tee off) was good and the course was a good level for hcps 14 - 26. Highly recommended for any tour to the area.
