Nice club house with good outside area. Great course, but expensive compared to UK courses, although exchange rates poor when I played.

Good course
Another good course at Quinta, we always enjoy playing the South. It's a tough test and the greens and fairways are always in great nick.Reviewer Rating

Basic course with very little in the way if you can drive, more about position of the ball for the dog leg holes which are frequent. Greens in good condition, and always great to play golf in the sun. This course is great for players with high handicap..

Although this course is excellent, I find that ALL golf in Portugal is very expensive compared with the UK or even the USA. No wonder there are no young portugese golfers making the breakthough into the big time, They cant afford the green fees, which at some clubs, like the Qunta Do Lagoe courses, is as much as £90/round and that doesn't include buggies. Regular golf in Portugal, unfortunately, is only for the wealthy, or for the holiday makerwho has to save up for a whole year, for one of their packages

Excellent course. Greens are fast. beautiful surrounding. However the price is not justified.

Iconic must play Algarve course and although it's pricey it is worth it for the whole experience. Always fabulous condition and the views are awesome. It does get busy though and be prepared for a long round

As a championship course in European tour, the course is easier than I expected. Not very long distance course, green is challenging but not hell difficult. The most challenging part is that the landscape is up and down a lot and for most of holes, you cannot see the whole fairways, so you have to play most of driving and we cone short blindly, which is really difficult if you play first time there, would be much easier after you get familiar with the course. I expected much nicer sea view from the course but in fact there is only one hole where you can see the sea although the view is amazing. A lot of fun to play due to the up and down fairways and greens, definitely will play again. Green fee is a little bit high especially not including the buggy.

Best Course In The Area
Given the extreme wet weather during December 2019 the course was the only one open in the area with playable tee boxes and greens in fact most courses in the area was closed which is a testament to the green staff at FarleighReviewer Rating

Great opening Villamoura course
Played South on the first day of a three day tour and this course was excellent - touch challenging holes with plenty of bunkers and narrow drives.(Round played: Sep 2017 - Score: 92 Handicap: 17.9)
