Farnham Park Golf Course was opened in 1975 and Farnham Park Golf Club was formed in 1977. In 1982 the Council purchased more land and Hawtree were asked to develop an eighteen hole course. The course is a fine 18 hole parkland course with many established trees and ditches crossing the fairways. It is a par 71 for the men and a par 73 for ladies. Book a Tee Time

This course is FANTASTIC value for money.

Interesting course. Fairways not as good as others, greens were woolly. But have had lots of wet weather.

The course was I good condition for a pay and play. Great value, especially in the afternoons
Course is quite long for a high handicapper and the run in could do with a greater variety of holes (last seven are all longish par 4s)

One of the best Municipal Courses I have played on. Interesting holes and very good greens. Excellent value and no delays on a midweek January morning.

Good course for beginners and also a fair challenge for experienced players. Course condition fair but not great.

This is a charming course which is in excellent condition and well looked after. Although not overly long, it is not particular wide and therfore straight hitting is rewarded.
I would highly recommend playing here, and at £23.00 a round also represents tremendous value for money.

The facilities may be somewhat dated, however the service and catering are first class. The course is one of the best pay and play courses in the area. A really stiff challenge for most golfers, and a joy to play regardless of the conditions.

Good course, very snobbish and people playing there do not smile or seem to enjoy being there. SO WHY PLAY THE GAME.
Overall I loved the course, we got confused and walked from the 10th green to the 14 or I think the 16th tee without realising this as there were no sings directing to the 11th tee. A four baller saw us do this but instead of making us, aware they just let us carry on which affected the order of other people playing behind us.

A really good course for all levels, its pretty flat and has some nice wide fairways , greens are usually pretty good , the only downfall is sometimes it can get a bit slow on the weekends but would recommend it to anyone

It's still the best kept municipal course I've ever played at. In superb condition at the moment - the rough is cut to reasonable size and the greens are fantastic.

This is a council run course, well maintained and at £21.00 for 18 holes at the weekend, very good value for money. Wide fairways for the high handicapper with some difficult holes too.

I've played here for a couple of years now and it's the best kept municipal course i've ever played at. The greens are always top notch and the GF's are very reasonable!
