The first seven holes definitely provide the stiffest test and if you can negotiate these holes with your score still in tact then you will have a great chance to go on and return a good score.

27/01/12 Course was very sodden due to lots of rain the previous day. there were 5 winter greens in play which were hard to read due to being areas of the fairway.

Worldham is a well looked after course with some tight holes in the front nine, the back nine is more open and easier to play as a beginner.
Having not been back in the game that long I have found that Worldham allows me to test myself but also has holes that will allow me the chance to put one or two pars on my score card.

Well looked after course with some challenging holes, especially in the front nine. Having not been playing for that long I find the course has a good mix of holes some being tricky and some that even give me the chance of a par or two.

Worldham exceeded my fairly low expectations. Whilst relatively short at 6257 yards off the whites and 5887 yards off the yellows, the narrow fairways and undulating greens mean that scoring is far from easy.
The par of the course is 72, which is made up of two halves of 36, there are three par three’s and three par fives. The first eight holes provide the stiffest test as these are VERY tight but if you can negotiate these holes with your score still intact then you will have a great chance to go on and return a good score. Course in good nick. Excellent full breakfast. Driving range on site. Deals available to play for £10 wich is vg value.

GOOD COMMUNAL COURSE SET IN OPEN COUNTRYSDE WITH SOME TESTING HOLES PARTICULARLY IN THE SPRING/SUMMER WHN THE FOLIAGE AND FAIRWAY BORDER TREES FILL OUT. BEING OFF THE FAIRWAY SERIOUSLY IMPEDES LINE OF SIGHT AND SOME ROUGH IS DIFFICULT TO PLAY OUT OF.

good course, bit short of grass on fairways due to excessive heat recently, maybe not watered enough.
Front nine is tough if you are not atraight off the tea. Back 9 is easier off the tea as its more open but some of the greens are crazy, massive hills in the middle of the green and pin positions are really tough. Due to hard groung it was impossible to hold the green so had to come up short.

Nice parkland course, one of my favourite Hampshire courses. Very friendly club, small pro shop. Good meals. Only complaint if you play in winter, it can be a bit clayey.

Very well presented course, fairways and greens are well maintained and greens are challenging enough for the mid to high handicappers. One downside is the rough during the autumn months, put your ball in there and expect a challenge to find it with the fallen leaves. All in all a course worth playing and good value for money.
