Good course with a lot of bunkers. Accuracy on this course is the key, if you are in the rough is hard to find your ball. The fairway are quite narrow, so are some green as well.

Excellent venue for an overnight stay. Played the course twice. A tough course and good condition generally, although the bunkers need some work at the moment. A good hotel and nice parkland course.

Course is a fair test of golf with the rough being it main defence along with well positioned bunkers. Stayed at the hotel on a Sunday/Monday deal and the rooms are reasonable but the food was disappointing.

Suberb and challenging course with some long par 5's
A bit pricy in the summer but great value in the Winter

Excellent course, with a fair bit of water. Excellent facilities, and allows 2-fore-1 vouchers.

On first impressions when you look at it from the clubhouse it looks fairly open, however when you start to play it you quickly realise that it is a fine championship course, with a lot water and well placed sand traps. It is a tough and interesting course especially when the rough is left to grow! It is also a great place for a golf break, and very reasonably priced. I have played it many times and have enjoyed every round.

Nice testing course, plenty of water and plenty of sand.
Agree with the comment of the back nine being a little "Back and Forth", a little more signage would also help.

Greens kept in very good condition and venue is superb, worth a visit!

I'm looking forward to going back.

The front nine are great, the back nine feels a little 'back and forth'...a bit of a slog. The venue is also used for corporate training and it feels a bit 'worky' at times.

Part of the De Vere Set up and as such a great test of golf, not an easy course and rough that you can lose yourself in let alone a ball
With such a good set up the course is well maintained and provides a stern test, bunkers, hazard's including water are prominent.
Good quick greens that run true and good drainage, good conditions all year round.

A nice course played during a society event.

Not too sure of the price but would definately go back.

A really long course at about 7000 yds I believe.

This course can either be very tough, when the rough is up, or very open when it isn't. The difficulty varies hugely. It is a decent layout and is a good resort course.

I played this course in the golfshake.com event in May 2007. Despite all the rain we had had the course was in excellent condition, greens were good and true and fairways well kept. I found the front 9 okay but tough going on the back 9 given the length of the course.

Great facilities given it's a hotel and conference venue as well as a golf course. Definiately worth a visit.

Nice, well kept course with some challenging holes. Well placed hazards with some tempting shots that will be punished if hit badly, high handicappers should play a percentage game to get a reasonable score. Bunker on the 2nd is the size of Skegness beach. Greens were quickish considering the amount of rain that had been before.
A bit soleless and corporate in the clubhouse/hotel.

A good golf course that is cleverly testing!

The greens are in general very quick and sometimes the most testing part of the course. Nice views through the 9's as you play around the manor house, especially from the 9th tee! A good track that is definitely worth going to play. I like the open air driving range too!
