What the club says: Windyhill Golf Club is an 18-hole parkland and moorland course measuring 6154 yards in length with a Par of 71 from the White Tees. Four testing Par 3s, 3 Par 5s combined with a series of daunting Par 4s makes Windyhill a challenging test of golf for golfers of all abilities.

There are a number of holes on the course which could be considered to be the signature hole. Most notably either the 7th, 9th, 12th or the 14th.

Course is in pretty good condition. A bit plain for me and not being a big hitter I struggled on some of the par 4s. Greens were very firm which meant they were fast but difficult to land the ball on without running off.

Didn't use the facilities but they looked pretty good from the outside

WAs a good course, unfortunately the rain was pretty bad so greens had a bit of water on them

Undulating course with several blind summits, full of features blending parkland seamlessly with rugged moorland. Promotes stunning views across the City of Glasgow to the South and the Campsie Fells to the North making the round a pleasure, no matter the score.

Tee off time deal and first time playing the course. I'd say that the course is well maintained and greens are in perfect condition. I personally felt though that there were to many blind tee shots and very hilly. On some holes a straight drive could be punished due to the layout of the land so take your draw and fade with you. All in all, glad I played it but the constant uphill and blind tee shots out weigh the immaculate condition and lush greens for me.

Got a cheap round off teetimes website. Well worth the bargain price of 13 quid I paid. Greens pretty sandy but aside from that all good.

Lovely course design and picturesque scenery. Uphill, downhill, sidehill, lots of variety of shots to play. Many of the par 4s require carries of 250+ yds to hope reaching in two. Greens just sanded and still recovering from winter - members say they get fast in summer making slopes in greens a much more serious challenge.
