For my first full 18-hole golf course i thought that it was a good introduction to the many course's up for offer. I would like to visit this course again some time soon. The course has a good variety of short-medium sized holes with the 18th hole being the longest.

Played William Wroe today and got 2 4 1 wich it is every Monday so we had a two ball for £11!
Now you cant argue with that, Well worth the money. Some times feels a little strange in the layout of the course ut a good challenge all the same. Weather was terrible today but Ill be back on Sat to play in brighter weather and will post another review then. The Course

This is technically my home course! I started playing the game 1975 the year after this course was opened. It has seen some improvements over the years. The first hole is quite intimidating and I admit it has taken me over 30 years to achieve a true par (4) on this hole. Yes I know that at SI = 1 I should be scoring 5 maybe 6 on my 18 h'cap, but a straight par on this hole did wonders for my card that day. This course is NOT easy!
What are the benefits of playing this one? It's tight, sometimes unforgiving, but a good warm up round for any competition later in the week if playing elsewhere.
I love it!The Course

Short, though relatively tight course, much improved over the past few years. Can get very boggy in the winter. Useful for a quick round (under two and a half hours if clear in front!)

Short course with very narrow fairways.
The toughest hole is the the long dogleg left 1st with trouble all over it.
A lot of decent distance par 3's can test you driving skills. The Course
