Weston Turville Golf Club
Situated at the foot of the Chiltern Hills, the course presents a demanding test for the lower handicap but is not so
daunting that the higher handicap cannot score well and enjoy the gamewith prudent use of the shots they receive. Water hazards are a distinctivefeature of the course and there is plenty of variety in the character of the holes. Among the many interesting holes is the 15th. It is a 90-degree dogleg to the left with a green guarded by bunkers and water. Even with a good drive the approach shot demands accuracy to give any real chance to par. Contact Information

Location: From LONDON M25 Junction 20 join the A41 north to Aylesbury, at the roundabout (Aston Clinton) turn right continuing towards Aylesbury (do not follow signs to Weston Turville.) Turn left immediately after the Holiday Inn (B4544) From MILTON KEYNES Follow signs to Aylesbury (4146), turn onto the A418 (Aylesbury) at the ring road (A4157), turn left (Tring, Hemel Hempstead, Watford. Follow the ring road and turn onto the A41 (Tring). Just outside of Aylesbury, turn right just before the Holiday Inn (B4544) From BIRMINGHAM M40 South to Junction 9 follow A41 to Aylesbury. Turn left onto the ring road (A4157), continue on the ring road and turn onto A41 Tring). Just outside of Aylesbury, turn right just before the Holiday Inn (B4544).

Each hole is a bit on top of each other, but it played very nice and the fairways and greens were in very good condition. I thought it was very good for the money.

Holes cross each other at certain points but it didn't interfere with our round really. Bit flat and straight, not too much variation.

first time i've played this course,greens in good condition for the time of year a little long but can understand due to the traffic on them other the weekend ,again fairway quite hard so ball would bounce on not a bad thing though,a pitty we had to play winter rules and still playing off winter Tees

Last time I played it the greens were absolute rockcakes, couldn't play proper golf - dodgy lies in fairways and remember hitting a wedge which I thought was perfect, pitched about 10 ft short of the hole, ran through the green by about 15 yards, like bouncing off concrete..

I was once a member here and it was ok.
Now the fairways are more like rough. The greens are patchy. The tees are overgrown.
It was a real disappointment and i felt embarrassed getting my friends from work to drive 40 miles to come and play it with me.
Really is shocking.

I think a good place that treads a welcome plan of being well presented but not stuffy. It offers good value golf on a pleasant course.
Liike many courses that have been extended this has some crossovers and is a bit tight in places. So, it is much better to play when not crowded.
The bar is welcoming. The food is of the snack-bar variety but fine for what it is.
