Fantastic classic heathland course
West Hill is one of the fabled "three W's" and is a lovely track. Playing in early April, it was in great condition and the greens were quick for the time of year. It is framed by tall pine trees and lots of heather. Stay out of the heather and you will do well. Subtle elevation changes make judging distance on approach shots tough. Well worth a visit.(Round played: Apr 2019 - Score: 78 Handicap: 3.2)

Society Day -
Course was in great condition apart from the bunkers as there wasn't enough . sand in them, The greenkeeper had set up pins in quiet difficult spots. We had bacon roll and coffee and lunch included in the society package. The Game pie with chips and veg was excellent.
Can't wait for next years event.

Brilliant course in great setting
Over 100 years old, challenging, picturesque and a delight to play. Heather instead of rough so good sand iron play essential. Some very challenging greens, especially after club championship!!!(Round played: Jun 2018 - Score: 96 Handicap: 19)

Beautiful Track
Plenty of very pleasing features & lots of variation on this layout. Every hole has its own character.Lots of care required to plot your way round this Surrey gem! Strong par fours are a highlight and most demand your full attention in order to score well. Some excellent par three's, as well, to challenge the better player too.
Presented in immaculate condition in April 2018 & the ground staff should feel very proud of this beautiful layout. The best greens I've played on in Surrey to date.
Unstuffy easy-going atmosphere in the bar & dining room. Loved it!

Lovely traditional Heathland course
This is truly a gem of a course. We played it in March and was in remarkable condition considering they had had three inches of snow 48 hours before. If you get the chance, treat yourself. Its hard, but fair.(Round played: Mar 2018 - Score: 99 Handicap: 18.5)

Very overrated
Course very wet: course is well overpriced at £60 for a winter green fee. Very slow round: stuck behind a three ball for the whole round: would not let me through.Reviewer Rating

Voted 87th best course in GB & Ireland
We came here for a pairs final for our golf society. At ?95 pp I expected something pretty good and we got exactly that. The course had been hit by heavy rain in the preceding days but standing water on only the one hole. The greens were in good shape and running true.

Beautiful
This was my first visit to one of the famous 3 "W"s in Surrey as I had heard this was the best out of the three. I was not disappointed , from the moment you drive through the gates it feels a special place and the sometimes "snobbiness" which is associated with some golf clubs simply wasn't there. We had an afternoon tee time and the course was very quiet, there are no easy holes but like most courses, if you remain on the fairway you always have a chance of a par . Every bunker was freshly raked and the tee boxes were immaculate with it being hard to find a broken tee to use for an iron shot on most of them. It plays longer than the scorecard suggests due to a stream running through the course which you cannot carry but have to leave it short in case the ball rolls in! The par fives run out o fairway after around 260 yards so unless you can carry 300 yards you have to lay up or end up in the heather! A great course and one I would highly recommend . Go ahead and treat yourself to a round, you will not be disappointed.(Round played: Jun 2017 - Score: 82 Handicap: 10.6)
