a local course for me,a nice course but always seems to be heavy going and not a very friendly clubhouse a bit old school.. not one to rush back to

Golf course review of West Derby Golf Club

Still playing off mats on the majority of holes and winter fairway tees on the rest. Course obviously suffers from waterlogged fairways with plenty of ruts and depressions. Greens however excellent. Bunkers well kept.
Course may be tight but it never gets exciting with pretty straightforward up and down layout. Still not sure whether it has a signature hole.
Good reserve if you can't get on your favorite course

keep away from this one, waterlogged you have to play off mats in the winter, or when the have had heavy rain, overpriced.
