Werneth Low Golf ClubThis par 70 parkland course measures some 6184 yards and is a test for even the low handicap golfer, offering some outstanding holes. The 5th hole, the most difficult on the course, plays deceptively long and requires an accurate drive, followed by a testing downhill approach shot, to avoid the hazards that surround the green. The 8th is a deceptive dog leg right. Do you lay up or take on the corner rough? Peter Allis refers to the Par 3, 14th hole at Wentworth as being very difficult, well we think our uphill par 3, 15th hole to be even more challenging. To play the course takes imagination and skill and a great deal of effort to concentrate on the golf and ignore the magnificent views offered by the course.
