Upton by Chester Golf Club is an 18 hole traditional parkland course noted for its mature tree lined fairways and USGA standard greens. Tight parkland course confined within bounds of housing estate. It doesn't play long and doesn't offer any exciting views. Hardly any water but some tricky bunkers. No winter greens in mid winter was a bonus though winter tees shortened course further, though this was welcome on the 233yard!! par 3 17th.

played this course cos i had an offer for a meal and 18 golf. thought the greens were really quick and in great condition. overall i was so impressed with the course. would play this again.

as it being my home club of course its going to be excellent but really very nice course to play. great staff and club house.

Goo value at 25 pounds. Not long though. Fairways were in good condition. Not that easy to find the next tee box. no map on scorecard and no signs. Good for beginners/improvers.
