Golf course review of Upavon Golf Club

Good value, 4 ball £60. Greens ok but many pitch marks remain unrepaired. Back 9 very nice, views, layout etc, 15th is a lovely hole. Will return in spring/summer.

First time I have played this course for about ten years. I now can appreciate what a good course it is. its a challenge with the wind blowing. looking forward to playing it again. the pro shop is well stocked and very helpful. Bar was friendly they stayed open for us when it was starting to get dark.

Great course for learning to control the ball in windy conditions. Bunkers are a variety of sea shells, fine sand and builders sand. Greens are in great condition and all running similarly. Par 3 16th and 18th make the course. Thursday offer makes the course excellent VfM.

Linksy feel and hilly and its my mates home course. Always windy when i'm playing there and some holes you will struggle if your not straight off tee. Apart from that Hole 18 par 3 is a great tee shot over the valley and there's plenty of fun to be had here

Get your big stick out. LOTS!

Upavon is very long, very open and just stunning. Its just a monster.

Some really great holes and although "it suits the big hitter" it can be rather intricate in places.

Ive only ever managed to play this course in sideways rain and the adverse weather does spoil it somewhat. But its golf and a few hours away from the management.

Great course, one that I will go back to (one day).

I agree with the previous comments that this is not a pretty course. It was cut out of a bunch of farmers fields with some crevasses and they are only allowed to cut the grass once a year. I had a good round in the pouring rain but this is a tough course with some blind corners, thankfully we were with a friendly 5 handicapper who was a member.

Not a beautiful course but a fantastic challenge with rolling fairways and deep canyons to fall in. Great value with an all day ticket at £16.

Not easy but fun to try to tame, best value around this area.
