Ideal for a Society day but when we played it was very wet so didn't see the best of it. Staff were very welcoming

For this time of year the course was in fairly good condition on the down side could do with a course planner.

all round best course i have played, cant wait to visit it again
has great challenging greens and very picturesque views
the best staff you could find anywhere from the marker pro shop to the bar staff

Good long course with some tricky par 3's,first hole is a real tester along par 5 with out of bounds to the right and 2 ponds to clear.
Staff always friendly and ground staff always working on ther course.
Bunkers could do with more sand in them!

Would like to play here again in the summer as there was still some snow on the ground and we played onto a lot of winter greens. The course has a great layout and would suit low handicappers and high handicappers alike. The 18th is a great finishing hole.

Played and stayed for the weekend. The course is well thought out and in excellent condition. The green are extremely challenging but run consistent and true. Highlights include 9 and 12 excellent par 3's and the closing hole is sublime. Cannot recommend this course highly enough.

Just played today and really enjoyed the course, it has some really nice holes, bunkers are placed well to challenge the best golfers, along with really testing green's, where being the "right" side of the hole has to be a must. Cant fault it and gets a full house on stars from me!

Thoroughly enjoyed this course. A great variety of holes all with well maintained, if tricky, greens. The tees are well placed to challenge golfers of all standards and enabled my wife and I to have some very competitive games. This is not always the case at the majority of hotel/country club courses, where the ladies tees appear to be as much an afterthought, rather than part of the initial design.

Played this 3 times on our annual Club Weekend away. Very enjoyable course, which seems to be easier to plan your way round the second and third time around. You will leave yourself some virtually impossible putts, that's guaranteed, but the greens were true and quick when we were there, so you can get used to them.

I'm not sure where all the water was to be honest, however I did manage to find it on the 18th. Just returned from a weekend break at this course and thought it was brilliant. Great value for money, quite a lengthy course and very challenging in places. The greens will be my lasting memory of this course and the closing 18. The greens were lightening fast and very difficult pin positions. The 18th hole was abseloutely stunning and a great way to end a brilliant course.

A good test with a good mix of holes. Difficult greens where the key is to get approaches that allow uphill putts as the downhill ones are tricky.The ninth is an interesting par 3 where you Tee off from an old railway line that is raised to the height of a bridge the railway line also features on the twelth. The course is in good condition currently but suffers a bit in the wet. The only critisism is the lack of sand in the bunkers leading to bunker shots being a bit of a lottery.
