What the club says: At a shade over 6100 yards, Tyneside may not be the longest course in the area but it is certainly considered by many to be a stern test and one of the premier courses in the North East.

strange golf course ...interesting to play without any sort of course guide....also lots of playing across greens and close to other players

played this course in december as i was told it is a great course that stands up to the wonderful winter weather we get. This i'm glad to say was no understatement, it was in fantastic nick, the greens were excellent and you left with virtually clean slacks. Bonus. Golf hole wise there wasn't a bad hole, views and undulations are great and there are a couple of real testers in index's 1 and 2. Will defo play again.

Nice small course. Greens in very good condition but rough was a bit punishing being knee deep when just off the fairways.

this course is fantastic.The views over the tyne valley are beautiful. The variation of holes is amazing with undulating fairways, subtle hidden hazards and beautiful greens, it is a real joy to play. A true "hidden gem!" If you are in the north east it is well worth seeking out and treating yourself to a round (or two!)
