The review below is actually for Richings Park, played both courses on the same day, Thorney Park review is:- Course is a bit samey as the first 6 holes are parallel to each other going up and down a hill. 7,8,and 9 more interesting, all requiring shots over a lake. 6 of the back nine are just backward and forward across a field. Course was however in very good condition and the staff were very friendly.

Nice course, fairly straight forward front nine, much more interesting back nine with water coming into play on several holes. In good condition. Course or hole diagrams would be an advantage as would a few signs to the next tee, there are none at the moment. Friendly pro shop staff.

Well kept and maintained throughout but the greens a little bit too sandy at the moment.Watch out for fresh mushrooms on the course as they look like golf balls from a distance!! Well worth another trip.

Ideal for a quick 18 after work for me, also they do good price deals on certain days. This course is always in great condition I've found, must say I've never really noticed the noise until my last round there and it was evident.
A few nice par 3's over water and some narrow par 5's make this a good test. The format for the 18th is silly for the last hole, would be fairer in the middle of the round but overall a nice course.

Have been playing most of my golf here at the moment, it is a good trek espically if the wind is blowing. Always lot of work being done on the course to keep it in good condition, good green keeping staff who know what they are doing. lacking in the large tree department but overall pleasent club and easy on the legs.

Great little course, but only a few opportunites to unleash hell with the driver. Fairly tight, undulating fairways and tricky but well kept greens. i'd suggest getting a course booklet if you don't know it too well though, as the scorecard has no mini-map printed on the back. NOTE: watch out for the pylon cables over the Par 3 7th (oh, and the water beneath...)

Generally play Xmas society day here and apart from the awful weather we always encounter it's a good knock.
Greens could be better. Ideal for M25 car spotter as it sits alongside the motorway. I'm told they have now cut the first from a long par four into a short par three to include a new facility. Won't be rushing back there then. The Course

I really like this course. The first 9 is really challening. The back nine is not bad. You have to hit straight otherwise in the summer you will not find the ball.
