Set in the beautiful "Vale of York", in close proximity to the Lower Derwent Valley, The Oaks Golf Club boasts an outstanding Championship course. All the greens and tees are built to full USGA specifications and there are also six water features, all of which come in to play! The log cabin half way house provides some respite for golfers before teeing up to take on the lake at the 10th tee. Location
Location: Take the A1(M) to junction 38 and then the A1 and turn right onto the A63. Follow this to Selby and turn left onto the A19 and turn right onto the A163 towards Bubwith. Turn left onto the B1228 and soon after, left again towards Aughton.

nice course, flat and wide make it a nice course with not too much trouble for a straight-ish hitter and an easy walk. £20 per round pay and play is very good value.

Unfortunatley on this course you can find people who do not follow the etiquette of golf to strictly. You would be unlikely to see someone in jeans, but it would certainly not be impossible. I have not been back since the fire, but they have since done a massive refurbishment.

played this course for the first time in about 12 years and it is excellent. the greens were in top condition and the greens were perfect.staff in club house were pleasent and friendly.
