A long course with many holes having scenic views. A challenging course whereby many of your shots are from uphill/ downhill and side hill lies. Well spaced tee positions offering a good game of golf for all abilities.

For the price this isn't a bad course, however it is seriously spoiled by 3 proper 'mickey mouse holes'. These being the 3rd, 10th and 11th all of which are far too dependant upon luck due to the shape of the land. The 1st and 10th also run at the side of the driving range, so there are always hundreds of balls to distract away from which one is actually yours. The greens are big, yet the surface is always medium to slow and far from true to line. For first time visitors to the course, there are also a few blind holes which doesn't help the speed of play. Don't bust a gut to get a game here, it's ok but it's a long way from special!

quite forgiving for higher handicapped golfers with several fairways running side by side. Good course overall

Good course overall, some of the greens were in poor condition, lots of sand. The tenth is a bit of a pain as it runs adjacent to the driving range and the fairway was covered with range balls....took a while to find my own. The 18th is a killer....540 yards....all uphill....Makes the nineteenth hole enjoyable. Good value for money , £18.50 for a Friday afternoon....would recommend.

Played in April after rain for two days, but course still playable. A good challenge with a variety of holes. Enjoyed my visit.

Tip for the 1st & tenth play a coloured ball on both these holes then switch back to your regular ball. Much easier to locate

played it once and will try again half the course was waterlogged and certain holes closed and unplayable
the tenth is disappointing due to it being next to the range and their being LOTS of range balls on the fairway hard to find your own amongst them!

nice course and friendly staff. £10 with 2-4-1. good mix of holes tho can see it being very wet in the winter due to the river bordering a number of holes.

Undergoing some work this year on a few holes, changing location of greens etc, so reviewed as good until i've played it. Bit hilly, boasts Staffs longest par 5 i believe? Well worth a round for the money.
