The course at Tewkesbury is set in the wonderful surroundings of the Gloucestershire countryside. It boasts breathtaking views up to the Malvern Hills, across the Cotswolds and over the town itself, particularly from the Spikes Bar at the end of the round. The 6,533 yard Par 73 course has some classic mature features, impressive greens and testing water hazards and is based in the grounds of the impressive hotel. A tricky par three to watch out for is the 5th with a small lake just short of the green, making club selection a make or break decision.Contact Information

When I first joined in Aug 10 the course needed attention and this was rectified in the form of a new greens keeper who has put a great deal of effort and pride into bring this course up to great standard. A medium hilly course that benifits from great natural drainage making it playable even after a lot of rain. The green are good but need time to recover after a busy winter with the regular treaments against moss leaving them a little rough. I am looking forward to summer as this course will be great. tricky dogleg lefts are a challange to the ameture slicer with stratigicly placed bunkers and cut in fareways. I recomend this course to anyone.

nice parkland course. Great condition when I played in early March - ground seemed to hold up very well. Greens very challenging and undulating. Interesting variety of holes. Certainly one of the better courses in the area and great value for £18 (online saver) when I played. 18th a strange hole as you would love to get your driver out but dont want to risk hitting the hotel - would prefer them to lengthen this hole as it really isnt worth the damage!

£32 for breakfast, 18 holes and 3 course dinner, who can grumble at that. Played on a Sunday in January an had the whole course to ourselves. Well worth a visit.
