Tandridge Golf Club
The 6,250 yard par 70 course, designed by the celebrated architect Harry Colt provides an excellent test of golf. The course includes two loops of nine, each beggining and ending at the clubhouse.
The first nine are comparatively flat whilst the second are sited in much more undulating terrain. Strategically placed bunkers call for accuracy from the tee, plateau greens make for demanding approach shots whilst subtle burrows add to the pressures of putting.

Location: Leave the M25 at junction 6 and follow signs for the A22 towards Caterham and Godstone. After approximatly a mile, take the 1st Exit off the roundabout into A25, this is Oxted Road.

Lovely course. Long and testing with a variety of well placed bunkers. Some stunning views as well. £50 for the day was not bad value as well.

Tandridge is an excellent course, and a very old members club. Excellent tee position on the 1st, good quick greens and I would recommend it to anyone!

Based on the quality of the golf course and in particlar the simply amazing catering at this club, it should be regarded as highly as its possible to rate. Unfortunately the traditional (socks at knee length, etc etc) starchy culture will deter many. Don't be fooled by the shortness in length, some of the par fours will test the best - overall a wonderful experience, but when, when, when will clubs like this realise we have arrived in 2008 - if golf Europe wide still adopted these rules, the Americans would still be kicking our backsides in Ryder Cup golf, thank god most clubs have woken up.

This course is stunning!
A great golf course that is in top condition in this early part of 2007. The front 9 builds you up for the excellent back 9 with views all around. Enjoy the 14th... what a hole!
