fantastic
A really good course and we found that it was busy but not slow. The staff are very helpful and look lie they enjoy the job and this reflected in the way they served us. Highly recommend this course .Food good and the service.Reviewer Rating

Hilly and Challenging
We were glad we booked a buggy as the course is quite hilly in parts. Lots of challenging holes, including elevated tees and some blind shots. The pace of play was slow and a round took us about 5 hours. Good value course, greens in good condition even though it was wet underfoot.Reviewer Rating

Greens were lightening quick but in good nick. Very challenging course and you have to think your way round, would definitely do things a little differently if played again

Nice little course well worth a visit if your in the area especially for higher handicappers

Played in January on a cold but dry day. Course in good nick for winter no temp greens only a couple of tee mats. Greens were very playable if a bit slow but that's fine for time of year. Couple of the greens were frozen! Overall an enjoyable course, plenty of variety and changes in elevation. A good walk even though not a long course. Defford want to play again. Stovkwood Lane is really y narrow in places so not a pleasure to get to!

Got very annoyed with getting stuck behind a match. Apart from their scheduling of tee times game was enjoyable.

A popular course which is testing. Strategic bunkers make accuracy rather than distance an advantage off the tee. Greens in excellent order given that its November. An enjoyable experience which I will be repeating.

local area golf club with excellent winter drainage giving a high standard of golf throughout the year.can be alittle daunting on some players because of the steep hills between some holes green keeping very good with practice area for pitching and bunker works,golf range also on site as part of club. always well subscribed by club and open players alike.

Nice course fast greens for the time of year. Gusting winds on some exposed holes. Hilly so get a buggy. Over 55’s a little cheaper if you ask. Friendly staff but the food and drink a bit on the expensive side.
