What the club says: The course is nine holes in undulating parkland and the total length for eighteen holes is 5,510 yards. Par is 66. Although relatively short by modern standards, the nine holes are full of variety, the slopes and hidden greens require accuracy and course management to achieve a good score; althought there are some very good driving holes, long hitters find little advantage over their weaker brethren. There are no water hazards, but the gorse and heather trap the unwary

A great 9 hole course

I played here for the second time this year, last week and the course is still in superb condition, one of the best I have played this year.
It's only nine holes but you need the second nine to work out which clubs to use on the elevated greens and get the speed of them. I will be back, the locals were really friendly as well. It about the only course in mid wales with a driving range.

A great 9 hole course

We played here last Thursday and received a great warm welcome. The course is interesting and provides a challenge for all golfers. A lot of work has been done since I was last here and it is now more open and friendly. we look forward to coming back in the future.

A course looked after with a great deal of care and pride, and attention to detail eg. three raised rakes in long bunkers. Excellent facilities for a small club including range, and pitch and putt course. Very friendly eg. 'last to leave please switch off the range floodlights.' Always open and amenable to special requests. Lots of competitions. Small shop which sells lots of used equipment at great prices. Very good value all round. Surrounded by viewable breathtaking mountains scenery. The best of the three local courses I've been a member of.

Situated on a hilltop just outside the picturesque town of Llanidloes. You will find a very friendly welcome and a beautifully maintained 'heathland' 9 hole course. The charges are very reasonable and the course drains well and is playable throughout the year. A driving range has recently been opened to augment the facilities. The views, particularly from the 9th tee are superb. Several of the greens are elevated, making the approaches trickier than first appearances suggest. And an unexpected free bonus is the air compressor, making the job of shoe cleaning at the end of your game really easy! This course is definitely a must when in mid-Wales.
