Very short 9 hole course, not very challenging. Good for beginners only. Was very wet when we played which didn't help.

The Vardon Grip

The course was in excellent condition greens tee boxes etc all well defined and manicured.

The course was in reasonable condition but for a parkland course you had to more or less play it as a links because the greens was very firm and it was very difficult to get the ball to stop on the greens with your approach.

The course was very wet in places but the course played well, a little up and down in places but there were a few tricky holes.

Fairways a bit dry and greens could do with some water however a nice track with intersting holes. Starts short nut goes long for a while however the Par 5's are get there in 2 territory if the wind is blowing right. Worth a visit.

Great layoit

Good condition in January

Played on 5th January. The course has benefited from lack of rain in the last few weeks.
The greens were very true and consistent. Only taking 27 putts could have influenced my opinion.
No temporary tees or greens which is pretty good for a course on a clay subsoil at this time of year.

Great November Golf

On the outskirts of London South Herts provides an excellent location for a game of golf.
The course is in excellent condition and allowed me to play a very good round of golf on a sunny November morning.
