Interesting course once again made up of 2 halves. The front 9 take you through the wooded area where the rough is punishing, whilst the back 9 meanders through rhododendrons which I assume was part of the original gardens for the hall. Has some height changes too, just add to the interest.

Short, tight but also open at the same time. A few challenging driving holes and some interesting greens. Nice and clear twilight completed in just over 2hrs. Well maintained - enjoyable evening had

(Round played: Jul 2015 - Score: 106 Handicap: 26.8) A testing course that plays longer than it looks. The fairways are dry to the point of being browned out but the greens are well kept. One of my favourites because I got my first and only eagle here last year on the 335 par 4, 3rd hole.
