Sandhill Golf course was built in 1992 and has now reached full maturity. We continue to provide a high standard of maintenance to produce a course both rewarding and challenging to the club golfer. The course is 6309 yards long PAR 71 for the gentlemen and 5620 yards long PAR 73 for the ladies.Book a Tee Time

Played many times and the greens are slow compared to others ive played. Very flat course and now maturing. I dont find this course very difficult and always score well generally. That said its a solid course if nothing out of the ordinary.

Nice short course but makes up for it round the greens. The very short thick rough will spoil your little bump and run all day long and the putting can be very tricky. Over all a good little test

Excellent condition. We paid £10 as it was all Winter Greens while the greens were being spiked. The fairways were really good.

Only played this course the once but i will be going again once i find time to get there. Only spoiler was a 3 ball in front of us playing very very very slowly had to wait on 4 holes for them but didnt seem to want us to play through ? other than that great course.

Course in very good condition in mid November @ a reasonable price of £15 per round. The greens were in splendid condition and ran very true.but they are quite difficult. This was our second visit here this year and the only drawback is the lack of food available in the 19th. Only packed cold sandwiches and hot pies available to-day. No cook on site. The lady in the pro shop was very helpful too.

A private golf club @ £15.00 a round!! (weekdays) puts the municipals to shame.
Excellent course, some tough holes and fantastic greens. This is a must play if you haven't done so, you don't need membership!

Nice course fairways in good condition greens were a bit on the slow side clubhouse was fine pro shop a bit small we played for reduced fees after 2.00pm

Greens very slow however course in good condition with polite friendly staff, gutted bar was closed sign of the times completed round at 9.30pm was looking forward to sinking a cold one and bar closed ? never seen the bar closed before. enjoyable round.

play sandhill almost every week, it is good value for money when compared to other courses in this area although does lack a signature hole!. wide open fairways on most holes, although there are a few crazy greens (15 slopes from back to front a ridiculous ammount). the staff are allways very friendly and so are the members. all round nice place!!

The course seems to be getting better every year still I don't think that it is in the £22.50 bracket yet.

play often as a non member. excellent course!
Not the tightest or hardest as its only young (1993) and you can be slightly wayword without being punished too harshly. testing course on the short game though as you can face some challenging pitches/chips and also the greens have plenty of slopes on them.
Course condition is excellent throughout the year-greens are very good giving a nice true roll. drainage isnt an issue here either because it never gets boggy because of the ground type.
driving range at side of course, practice green and nets are all available to warm up.
Club staff are also very friendly and welcoming and members seem a lot more relaxed than most courses.
