Rusper Golf Club was opened in 1992 as a 9 hole course and extended to a full 18 holes some years later. The parkland course, with tree lined fairways and attractive water features, measures 6724 from the white tees. As the holes thread through the woodland, accuracy from the tee is at a premium but there are no long carries to deter the shorter hitter. With four short holes and a variety of par 4s and par 5s, the longest being the 9th hole measuring 525 yards, golfers will not leave the course without using every club in the bag. Location: Directions from the M25 (from the North) Leave at junction 9 and follow A24 to Dorking. From Dorking on A24, follwing signs to Horsham and Worthing. At Beare Green Roundabout, take a left for Newdigate. At T Junction in the village, turn right for Rusper. The club is approximately 1 mile on the right.

Wow what a tricky course. Don't be fooled by the first hole which is relatively easy compared to some of the later holes. Accurate driving is essential as trees hug the narrow fairways on a number of the holes waiting to punish any errors. when the trees run out the water begins!
If you want to score well then be sure to bring your best game with you.

Very friendly club with excellently kept course. Good food and convivial atmosphere in clubhouse. Highly recommended course to visit for a good test of your game.

This course is one of the hardest i have played but it is very good condition the greens fast and chalenging, overall this is a course that will challenge the best and deserves to do well .

Fablous course, in wonderful condition, with challenging greens and pleasing on the eye. Noise from planes can be a distraction but not too bad, its the noisy frogs on the 12th that put you off

Really nice course which makes you use every club in your bag. I can imagine this playing fairly short in the summer and it being a good scoring course bearing in mind you keep it straight!

Excellent course. Well maintained. Lures you into a false sense of security on the first few holes then takes you through the woods where you need to keep straight. Excellent twilight rate last year (£10) - I shouldn't have put that - you all know now. Rarely play at weekends - I think you can get better value elsewhere locally.

Played 03/10/2007 at 15.30, really good condition, couple of greens just drilled and re-seeded, fairways very nice and open, some water holes which tested the mental mind. Very enjoyable round, look forward to the next visit on the 20/10/2007
