Roundhay Golf Club was established in 1922, and is located some four miles from Leeds town centre. The course offers a test for golfers of all abilities and standards. Set in mature parkland with many natural hazards scattered across it, providing you with a sound test of ability. Although a 9 hole course of 5250 over 18 tees, The course boasts some Alister MacKenzie style two tier greens. The 9th signature hole is a drive through two copse of trees, a good test for any golfer to finish with, a par is a good score.Book a Tee Time

Met a great guy and a superb golfer called Micky Hughes. His handicap is 5 and I played a few holes with him, it was a treat. He smoothes it away and is such fun.
The course was good.
They had a Captain called Paddy who never shuts up.

Tee off matts in winter. Winter greens are poor. Good value for money in summer. In winter not so much

Probably not challenging enough for the low Handicappers. But for new players who only have a few rounds under their belt it's ideal course to push your game that bit further.

A 9 hole parkland course which has a variety of holes.
It will challenge the good golfer but enables the average player (myself) to have a challenging round.
Like all municipal courses, it is well used and so anybody used to fast greens and manicured fairways would find it rather ordinary.
For a 20+ handicapper it is a delight to play
