awful, I have been to this course like 6 times and EVERY time they have pinned and sanded it right in front of us, Pity as the course itself is nice and well groomed, just ruined by over attention to greens

Pleasure to play this course for the first time off the proper tee boxes. Fairways and greens in perfect condition and the weather managed to hold off for a great round of golf.

bargain for a tenner. very good for this time of year. looks like a lot of money as been spent on the course since some of the older reviews I've read about this course. Just wish I'd played better!!

I've reviewed this course in the past and rated it well, however I do not believe the previous reviewers comments reflect the course at this moment so I feel an update is due. The course plays well in Spring and Summer, but soon becomes shabby in the Autumn. At £22 for a round on a Saturday morning at this time of year, this is not great value, given the course is already getting boggy and the greens are some of the poorest I have played at any club this year. I played a few weeks ago and they were worse then, but not enough is spent on this course in terms of drainage or green care to justify the fee. I think Rother Valley has the potential to be a great course but Jack Barker who own it, need to spend some money and treat the golfers who use it with the facilities this place should command.

Great course, would recommend playing the 12 hole Par 3 course first as thats very good too. Some very good risk and reward holes and 2 great Par 5's. Well worth a visit.

Nice open course, ive only been playing golf 3 months,and really enjoy playing here. The course looks so forgiving but on some holes it isnt, which adds to the challenge.

i played this course last week, due to the sunny weather the tee's were really hard and very patchy, i expected more from a course that has plenty of custom. The driving range i feel lacks a bit of modern variety, yes it has automatic tee's but the driving range it self i feel is a little dated, the club house is small, and the shop is very small, with not much variety.

Have played this course twice in the last month. Has the potential to be a great course with errors well punished, but the Jack Barker team need to step up and improve the greens condition. Tee boxes a little shabby. Course played well, both times after rain so the fairways had softened a little. Twilight golf prices help improve overall ratings.

Fairways hard with bald patches leading to some unpredictable bounces from the tee, greens bobbley - not the worst we've played but definitely a 'could do better'. For the price paid (£10) moves the rating up, at full price of £18 (I think), overall rating would have been 2 stars.

Played the course after 3 reasonably dry days. Couldn't take trolleys onto the course and the course was very wet underfoot throughout with the ball plugging alot. Was surprised how boggy the land was. At £18 i think there are better winter courses (fairway grass was quite long and more like semi rough on other courses!) and I will leave RV until Spring has arrived and the course drier.

Really good value for money. Played it after all the bad weather in january and was impressed. Not great temp tees but on all greens and 90% were really good. Would recommend it for any winter golfer
