Oceānico Pinhal Golf Course
Opened in 1976, Pinhal Golf Course weaves its way through a pine forest and also sports panoramic views over the sea. Originally designed by English architect Frank Pennink, the famous American architect, Robert Trent Jones, introduced several modifications in 1985. As a result, the first nine holes wind through umbrella pinewoods while the back nine, returning gently uphill, moves through terrain that opens up to those magnificent sea views
18 holes. Par 72. 6726 yards. Woodland.

Good value for money as it was part of a package deal, quite a few long par fours, greens and tees can be a bit of a distance and plenty of pine trees to hit!

A really nice course, it winds through a residential area for the first nine but on a buggy this isn't a problem. The greens were slow on the day I played but the course was in excellent condition. It helps if you're straight off the tee or a least find the fairway. If you go into the trees you need to play out side ways on most shots. Excellent club house with good facilities.

one of the best courses i have played, you have to be able to shape the ball both ways off the tee.punished with wayward shots, but fined the fairway and have a good chance of making par.the course is very pleasing on the eye.
clubhouse very welcoming and warm, practice facilities also excellent, if you get the chance you must play this course.

A very picturesque course with a nice atmosphere as it wends it way through a residential area. The amount of trees is a nuisance and playing sideways is usually a very sensible option. After a while the holes becomme a bit 'same-y' but quite an enjoyable course.
