A very attractive 18 hole heavily wooded course, sitting on the edge of the New Forest, Paultons is an impressive new golfing complex. The par 3 11th epitomises the surroundings with an immaculate green positioned under towering pines. However, if you prefer a more relaxed experience then try the 9-hole Academy course, perfect for practice and where the greens are built to USGA specification. 18 holes. Par 71. 6238 yards. Parkland / Woodland.

Leave the M27 at Junction Two and follow signs to Romsey. At the first roundabout take the first exit sign to Ower. Take the first right by the Vine Hotel onto the Old Salisbury Road. Follow the road to the end and bear left into Paultons Golf Club.

A decent pay and play course with good greens and fairways. Course is flat and the front nine a little open and featureless. Back nine more interesting and challenging. Very good for beginners and high handicappers. Better golfers might prefer a tougher challenge.
