What the club says: Outlane Golf Club celebrated its centenary in 2006. Situated to the north of Huddersfield and close to the M62 (approximately one mile from Junction 23 if travelling east, two miles from Junction 24 if travelling west), it is an 18 hole moorland course of some 6000 yards with a number of challenging holes, renowned for its friendliness. Visitors are very welcome, but check by phone first.
The last few years have seen major investments in the course and clubhouse, including the reconstruction of the 7th and 8th greens,additional drainage on 4 other greens and a new building to house course machinery. Typifying the spirit of the club, a group of members have funded and constructed a new clubhouse balcony. We have also installed Solar Photovoltaic panels, allowing us to generate 10% of our own electricity, and our heating is provided by way of a Biomass boiler.

Very windy day but the course and greens in good condition, nice couple of pints and a hot beef sandwich after to top off a good day

Lovely golf course
Very much worth the green fee.Play on a Sunday for £15.00 and virtually have the course to yourself. Catering and drinks after your round.(Round played: Nov 2018 - Score: 85 Handicap: 16.5)

Great course
Played Outlane today course was in fantastic condition. We have played a few local courses over the last couple of weeks & Outlane is by far in the best condition of any of them. The new pro is very friendly & helpful, the members are always very welcoming to visitors. The clubhouse is looking very well, the bar staff very friendly, the food always top notch. We were so impressed with everything that e are playing there again next week, give it a try you won\'t be disappointed..Reviewer Rating

unfortunately due to the wet weeks previously the ground was boggy. Played with the use of fairway mats to protect the course.
