Course wet under foot and their greens have suffered a bit too due to all this crap weather we've had, but having said that it is a really nice course. They have stroke savers now, which is a must if you've not played it before. Club Pro very helpful and members on course very pleasent. With a 2-fore-1 its £15ea... Bargain! Club house has good range of beers and good selection of food at decent prices too. Play it if your in the area!

Just played here, no buggy, £15. What a little cracker of a course. Have driven past the entrance many, many times thinking it may be a little rough (the surrounding area is not the most affluent or picturesque) but couldn't believe what we found. As James said some of the greens were a little scalped and the remainder a little lush, but they were still receptive to a bit of backspin. It is late October afterall. The overall layout is excellent, if a bit confusing for a newcomer (no course maps and vague yardage markers) with some sweeping dog legs and tempting par 3's, but the locals were friendly and offered lots of advice. Well defined fairways lined with mature trees, some dangerous bunkers and hidden water hazards made for a very enjoyable round. Must try it in the summer, has the potential to be a real stunner.

Played today 22/10/07 course still in good condition although greens are being prepared for the winter ie. scarified etc.The autumn fall of leaves made it a little difficult to find wayward balls (but I suppose the idea is to keep them on the fairways). This is a very good course for the money £22.50p each inc. buggy. There are quite a few testing holes but also a mix of birdie chances, a good test for all handicaps.
