The club first opened for business in 1910 and now has a significant and friendly membership that rises year on year. It benefits further from fine picturesque views of the surrounding countryside. A really wonderful place to enjoy some golf.

Location: Frrom the M1 leave at junction 26 Left at exit from the North/Right at exit from South heading for Nottingham At the next roundabout take the second exit A6002 Go over 2 roundabouts and when you reach a set of traffic lights take a left and you are then entering the park From Nottingham head north on the A60 Mansfield road after about a mile bear left onto Hucknall road A611 Continue all the way along Hucknall road passing Bulwell Forest GC on the left and at the end take a left at the T junction (mini roundabout) At the Traffic Lights(Morrisons) take a right onto A6002 At the next set of lights turn right into park

As a newbie to the game of gold only been playing 3 months this is a perfect course as the fairways are quite wide and allows a wayward shot to turn out not to bad but get it totally wrong and the course will punish you. this is an ideal course for begineers and i would recommend it.

even though it was -3 and it had been around this cold for a few days/ nights our shoes were very muddy despite hard ground. Put doubts in my mind as to what this course would be like after so rainy days.

Disappointing, no club ball markers, shop very bare, no ball washers, not very well signed from some holes, hardly any bins, scorecard very cheap looking and poor, looks like they have been printed by themselves. No hole lay outs on any of the tees or yardage markers thought at least would have a course lay out on card. Only upside, yardage markers on fairways, but no yardage stakes.

this course is flat and easy to navigate with out an electric trolley,the fairways are well kept,and the greens are excellent.the club facilities are the best i have used round this area would recommend you trying this course out

This course is easy to negotiate fairly flat but challanging,the greens are in excellent condition.the fairways are also well maintained.and the ball runs well ...the club house is very well equipped the bar and snacks are second to none,and the staff are always on hand to help,and are very friendly.

taken over yet again and wrecked greens really poor and headges ripped out and not to mention the massive price hike sice last year. RIP OFF NOT THE ONE FOR ME, try ormande fields £13 a round and a cracking course this will get much more of my custom from now on. thank you, disgusted.

An enjoyable round. The course offers a decent balance between being long enough to penalise wayward tee shots, and short enough that short hitters and high handicappers do not feel overawed. The fairways are generally wide enough to not put you off hitting Driver, but the mature trees and rough will capture anything that is too wayward.
The course was in good condition, esp. for mid October, and the greens were decent with some tricky lines and slopes in places.
The course would benefit from improved signage (it was not always obvious where the next tee was!) and this was not helped by the tees themselves not being numbered.
We played at 9.10 on Sunday morning, having booked online for £10 each, which was a bargain. We would definitely visit this course again.

Lived near Bulwell all my life and finally played the course a couple of weeks ago. As said above, well looked after, though now in private hands I think. A poor mans Wollaton Park :o)
