What the club says: The Manor Course - This superb 18 hole, Championship length, par 72 course will continue to challenge even the most experienced golfer. It has been designed with tees of white (6710 yards), yellow (6477 yards) and red (5847 yards).
The Tower Course - This is a distinctive, 9-hole course, par 30, designed for golfers requiring a quick game, or those who wish to improve their short game, and for beginners to gain experience. It has 3 short par 4's and 6 par 3's of varied length.

great course, 2 for 1 deal at £15 each is fantastic value. greens and fairways excellent condition but Bunkers need more sand, its like playing off mud! otehr than the bunkers, which unfortunately i hit too many of, the whole place is fantastic

A course that is fairly forgiving on most holes and suits a bigger hitter
despite a lot of rain the course was in great condition. the greens were running quick and true and the fairways were very well maintained.

Always a challenge but always enjoyable
as usual as in my other reports this course goes from strength to strength, the fairways are kept like some greens at other courses, the greens themselves although had been spiked and dressed recently were in excellent condition, this course truly is a gem and not very busy on our round which made it even more enjoyable.

Part of a golf hotel complex so not overly intimidating. Far bit of water to avoid but usually to side rather than in front. Fairways and greens in very good condition especially after heavy rain earlier in the day and overnight. Good value for money if you can get reduced green fees but more exciting courses around otherwise

It's a good course with interesting holes, I play here regularly and its well worth a visit however it can be pricey at the weekends so look for the twilight offers.
Good confidence building course, great greens and picturesque views of the Derbyshire countryside

Played a two ball yesterday on a hot-deal. Arrived at the course to find a full car park and that a charity day had been organised. We checked in and the golf attendant said that we could not tee-off for a couple of hours because the charity event had started. He then said that we could tee off on the tenth which was clear. We enjoyed a good round of golf and only caught up with the last charity four ball on the eighteenth hole. The course looked good with a few alterations being been made since we last played there. The only annoying thing was that the clover had not been cut just off the fairway and we lost a couple of balls because of it.

Super day and a challenging back 9, greens a little slow
Great facilities beautiful course well managed except bunkers full of stones hardly any sand most disappointed, pity as everything else was great
(Round played: May 2017 - Score: 110 Handicap: 25.1)
Practice green nice and flat and smooth.
Fairways are generous, but there are still some risky shot choice to make due to various ditch and water hazards to watch out for.
Only real downer were the greens, they were quite bobbly and rough for a course of this standard and were a real disappointment
Overall enjoyed the experience and would definitely play again at the GolfNow rates
