Course has been exceptional throughout the winter with ground staff working hard to keep the areas between holes from getting churned up. Greens a little bumpy but mostly due to players not repairing pitch marks!!! Good driving range and good bar.

Third time I have played here and the second time after period of rain so course very wet but very playable. Wide fairways give the members and hotel guests every chance on many of the holes, but local knowledge an advantage as water hazard runs through the course, sometimes where you don't expect it!
Will certainly return, hopefully when it's a little dryer

every tee green open when most courses in the area were on winter greens / tees or closed totally. £16 for a round so good value for money. could do with marshalls though as it's a pay and play course and some players (the two in front of me - complete with one of their girlfriends) have no concept of slow play or playing through. Course looked very good, although once on it, it was apparent it was water-logged. Greens were icy and not been cleared, leading to patches of ice from other players feet all around the holes and greens. Good course but would be better if it was less than £12.00 to play during winter season. (Round played: Jan 2014 - Score: 43 Handicap: )

for the money , i dont think this course is good value , i would rather pay half the price and play Sinfin or Allestree , maybe this complex has been over-hyped by friends , as i felt a bit let down by the course , , staff and facilities were good/very good , just the course let it down because of bumpy greens mainly.
