A hard course if you don't hit the ball straight, Very narrow fairway with horrendous grass either side. Quite short holes overall when played down the middle.

Rated 5 by Euan G onGolf course review of Montrose Golf Links
One of the oldest courses in the world, this one will not disappoint! catch it on a day with little or no wind and its a course that you can score well on, if the wind is blowing you will find a course that would test anyone's game. Great signature par 3's at the third and sixteenth long par 4's and 5's and some of the best gaurded greens with deep pot bunkers. Hit it straight and you won't go too far wrong, lot's of trouble if you don't. A very fair course, it will reward good shots and punish those wayward ones. I really can't gush enough about this course.
