Mill Ride Golf Club
The Donald Steel designed Mill Ride opened for play in 1990 and is often described as having the characteristics of both links and parkland styles. Set in the grounds of a 175 acre private estate, the course winds itself expertly around seven lakes and has matured beautifully over the last fifteen years. Host to many championships including events on the European Seniors Tour and the Southern Region PGA Championship, this challenging course is also a regular hang out for lots of top European Tour golfers. The par 3 11th hole is one of the finest in Berkshire; at 175 yards over water with a shallow green, it is a genuine card wrecker. Contact Information

A challenging test of golf. A course that makes you think carefully about the shot you wish to play and punishes wayward shots. A good variety of holes with a mixture of picturesque treeline fairways and a selection of well placed water hazzards.

Played this course with the website 1/2 price twilight deal. Very good quality course with all the ingredients you would want for a tough test. Very much recomended.

A great track. Played as a guest but had been round before over Xmas. Extra run made no difference as there are some very difficult hazards. Some very picturesque holes. Well kept. Play if you get a chance. Perhaps a little pricey for visitors.

Played Mill Ride today Sunday 3rd, the course was empty as I can imagine all members plai in the morning. Course is excellent value for money £30.00...bargain. The young lady in the Pro-shop made us feel wecome...Definitely going back.....Would recommend, some tough holes and some shorter ones u have to think about!

An excellent testing course with a few blind shots you must getse planner to allow for water and sand. Very enjoyable and excellent service from staff in clubhouse and pro shop. Highly recommended

Great course, very interesting holes, a real test. Lovely clubhouse and main bar room in the middle, a great feeling about it. Enjoy the 17th and 18th, great holes.

I was genuinely surprised how good it was. It has a nice bump and run feel to it (although I was playing in September dry conditions) and was in great condition. Some of the holes where pretty hard, requiring layups (for someone of my ability) due to water, and some of the bunkers (which I kept finding) are fairly steep. Very enjoyable.
