Mill Hill Golf Club
A wonderful mature parkland course laid out by J F Abercrombie in 1923, designer of many fine courses including Worpledon, Coombie Hill and the Addington.
Set in 145 acres of gently undulating Green Belt land extending over the Mote Mount Estate on the borders of Hertfordshire and North London.
Its 18 holes are all individually designed, many bordered by ancient oaks with lakes on the 2nd, 9th, 10th and 17th. The course itself although only measuring 6247 yards, represents a stern golfing challenge whatever your handicap.Contact Information

Played this the very first time last week (surprising as i only live 5 minutes away) and have got to say i was very impressed with the course. The 17th is such a lovely hole with great scenery down hill. The only down sides are having to walk under a public subway to get to the course with which the subway isn't a pleasent smell!!!

Testing course in very good condition. Most holes tree lined so straight driving essential. Water on 4 holes;par 3 over water 2nd quite easy but on 9th,10th & very tricky 17th demands careful course management.

Played at 1pm after a morning deluge, but the greens drained very quickly. Had the course to ourselves thanks to the morning rain! The fall colours were fantastic on the tree lined holes. Clubhouse was quiet due to the weather & kitchen shut.

Played at 4.30 on a fine summers evening,4 of us got around the 18 despite the late start. Great views in the late afternoon sun especially the testing back nine.Tree lined holes make it feel as though you have the course to yourself. The fairways & greens were in fantastic condition. Stand out holes were the tenth(si5) & seventeeth(si7) both over water.Found these harder than the lower stroker index holes which are longer but you can see where your heading from the tee.The 13th & 14th look fairly straight forward as relatively short par 4s but miss the green & par becomes a struggle.Great value at half the price of the nearby Shires course. The Course

Course was in great condition when we played and was an interesting test because of the tree lined fairways despite being relatively short.
We played on a friday afternoon and it was pretty busy - the round took just under 5 hours! The captain was very friendly as were all the members we met and he even stood a round in the bar to apologise for the slow ronud which was a nice touchThe Course
