Great Course!
A great course and well worth a visit. Greens very challenging, some well placed bunkers and obstacles to make you think about your line off the tee.(Round played: Jul 2019 - Score: 119 Handicap: 30.3)

Super parkland course
A surprisingly nice and enjoyable parkland course. Largely flat and easy walking, with a few holes involving water. Course was in very good condition. Would recommend a visit.Reviewer Rating

Interesting course with view of Castle
A well designed parkland course in the old grounds of the Castle which is privately owned. A flat course but a good test of Golf. the "Lake Land" hole is a challenge.(Round played: May 2019 - Score: 95 Handicap: 19.9)

Fairways are in a bad way due to hot summer, greens are good.

great tees, superb greens, however, fairways were in very poor condition. They were grassless in patches. Will be very muddy when rain arrives.

Love this course
Fairways struggling from the weather this summer, and greens had been holletined but the course still played very well(Round played: Sep 2018 - Score: 91 Handicap: 14.8)

Average course without anything too spectacular or memorable. Many holes feel similar as a number of them run side by side. Flat course with greens so fast that they are punishing. Lots of bare patches on the fairways but that's to be expected after such a hot summer.

Fantastic course
Played mixed better ball. found greens excellent ,course well manicure .placing was in place because fairways a little sunburnt from summer(Round played: Aug 2018 - Score: 81 Handicap: 10.2)

Ok course.
Having played this course on previous occasions I was very disappointed with the fairways. They had obviously suffered a lot worse than some other courses due to the recent hot weather as the green grass expected was totally non existent in large parts but in fairness the greens were immaculate. Fairways affected game considerably but that is the way things go. Good clubhouse and friendly members and the carling cold drank after our round was probably the best pint of this stuff I have ever had. Will always play here as it is a great venue.(Round played: Aug 2018 - Score: 105 Handicap: 26)

1st time played here other than with the Society every December. Very enjoyable course with a variation of holes. With little ponds strategically placed near many greens caught me out on several times.
Members were very sociable and proud of this course.

Course very dry and barren. Greens were in excellent shape and given the hot weather not too fast

Lovely course
Weather was perfect. The 1st tee is straight and therefore lures you into a false sense of security if you are wayward off the tee. The greens seem slightly harder than they look but are presented beautifully. Bunkers on the whole are good, a couple seemed to have rough sand in compared to others. Water can be very penal as there are a few hidden little ponds here and there. Facilities need some investment, gents shower room was smelly and cluttered. Not that i'm complaining but some may find that the rough is cut back too much but at least you will find your wayward tee shots.Reviewer Rating
