Golf course review of Market Rasen Racecourse Golf Club

This course has quickly deteriorated over five years. The course itself is in terrible condition. The greens are like a lottery. They are far too long to even earn the name "green". There is absolutely no point in lining up a putt because the ball will go anywhere. Any green where the ball bounces 8 times in one putt is not worth playing on. It's a putt! there should be no bounces at all. There are also many bare patches in the greens and fairways. The tee boxes are just rediculous. I found myself thinking, "I am on the tee. My ball should not be sitting in rough at this point!" The grass on the tee boxes is just far too long.

The toilet facilities are okay and there is a small shop to by refreshments. The current price for 18 holes (going round the course twice) is £12. That might sound cheap but when you have had a round, you will be disappointed with how the course is kept. It is very poorly maintained.
