What the club says: Lytham Green Drive Golf Course is a pleasant tree lined course which, although within a mile of the Irish Sea, still retains its parkland characteristics, and offers excellent facilities for visitors. Standing on each tee, the course definition is clear, with obvious hazards and boundaries. Our greens have a reputation for being quick, true, and exceptionally well kept.

Great course, fairways and greens in brilliant nick. Really enjoyable course and good set up for the open today. Pace of play was very good, never having to wait to hit a shot. Greens were true, a little bit slower to what I'm used to but no complaints whatsoever. Already signed up for the next open here. Good ale on offer too!

There had been a lot of rain before we played, however the course was in very good condition, the greens were had no casual water and rolled well. The fairways were wet in places but otherwise playable. There are some good holes on the back nine.

Excellent Parkland course. Some par 4s seem short but are tricky when the landing area is difficult. Greens are amongst the best I've played. Quite wet in Winter but during the Summer months the courses stays lush when others are brown and hard. Members and staff are extremely friendly.

Played this course for the second time as a visitor. No winter greens in play, but winter tees and in some cases mats being played. The greens were generally good although some puts deviated on the holes put in to air the green. We turned up early for our tee time but we were told we could play early even though this time was reserved for members as there was a gap. The pleasantness of everyone at the club was fantastic particularly the polite gentleman in the pro shop. We had some conversations with some of the members playing and these too were extremely polite. If for nothing else it is certainly worth playing for the courtesy of everyone at the club.
