Still in recievership
Course in need of maintenance. Greens are the only thing being maintained except for the occassional cut. No definition to fairways and plenty of worm casats make it akward to play on "clean" lies. Will need lots of TLC when get a buyer. However cost of round dirt cheap as a result of little work. Always a tricky longish course made difficult by conditions.Reviewer Rating

The course to ourselves
Literally the only ones daft enough to think it would be worthwhile playing today. The expected rain was a drizzle, no more. The course was a little boggy in places but overall it was worth the effort.Reviewer Rating

Couple of tee boxes in need of attention. But, for less than GBP30, it's a good-value round.

Very pleasant course
Well kept. Greens very good pace and condition true. Pity about the awful roads you have to drive down to get there! Good value.Reviewer Rating

Not Great
A good course to learn to play the game. Greens were not bad, fairways and rough were very poor.Reviewer Rating

Great value. Great setting.
A well maintained public course, with wide open fairways, and a lovely setting in the Darenth Valley. We played mid-day, mid-week recently and had the course more or less to ourselves. It's a good course for learners, because although it's long there is not much trouble to be found. It used to be the case that at peak times play could be slow but I don't know if that still applies.
On the downside, the greens are slow (if that worries you), the 18th tee presently needs some attention, and the 19th is fairly basic.
Nonetheless,I really enjoy the course for what it is, and it's great value at ?23 for a mid-week round for seniors.
