The course was in tip top condition. The greens and fairways were manicured and there are another 2 cuts before the "jungle" outside these cuts grows up. If you like wildlife then deer are around, but ofcourse it is the time of the year for the indigenous swans to have hatched their broods of cygnets.there were at least half a dozen pairs with 5 to 7 young ones. Now is the time to play the Lakes course as the ground staff under the watchful eye of Graham Chambers are getting the course prepared for the EuroPro Tournament in August. Congratulations to all concerned. Lisa the catering manager is serving up some tremendously tasty food these days, with a good selection of beers, lager and cider on draft.
