Llandrindod Wells Golf Club

Llandrindod Wells Golf ClubFounded in 1905, the golf course was designed on a gently undulating plateau overlooking the town of Llandrindod Wells, by six times Open Champion Harry Vardon. Vardon designed a golf course that demonstrates a unique individuality that is seldom seen on parkland golf courses. Vardon's innovative use of the natural environment created a golf course that plays like a traditional "links" course. At almost 5800 yards with a par of 69 this is a golf course that no golfer will want to miss.

Golf course review of Llandrindod Wells Golf Club

A hill top course with a number of steep gradients. the first prepares you for this!!
No bunkers on the course the bracken, fern and wind is its defensive shield. A challenging course with superb views and the opportunity to be buzzed by RAF fighters as they chase each other overhead.
Well worth a visit

Hire a buggy! This course is punishing on the unfit. Fantastic views, some devilish holes, and impossible rough. Watch out for the weather as well as you are on possibly the highest course in Wales!

Golf course review of Llandrindod Wells Golf Club

I play this course a lot its very scenic and the nicest course I play the views are staggering ,Its always dry being high up, the wind can be a difficulty factor it can add shots on a round, there are no bunkers here its still hard though as most holes are blind tee shots give it a go you will want to come back time & again.

Golf course review of Llandrindod Wells Golf Club

Lovely course, though very hilly, a buggy is a must! Fantastic views over the valley, but wrapping up against the wind is advisable.

Golf course review of Llandrindod Wells Golf Club

Very hilly course with the first hole a real lung burner, a great challenge with some cracking holes, the driveable 18th, 200+ yard par 3 10th.

Not a long course and set in some of the finest Welsh scenery.
