Liphook GC was founded in 1922. The course is classic heathland spanning the Hampshire/West Sussex county boundaries. It is relatively short by modern standards, however, plentiful heather claims wayward driving and beautifully presented bunkers guard undulating, fast greens. I paid £28 to play at 4.00 which is excellent value. I did not use the Clubhouse or Practice Areas.

The greens are fanatastic, and the course is well kept in general. Though lacking in length, the course provides a good test from the back tees due mainly to the nature of the fast greens!

Very hard for high handicappers, as a lot of heather carries. However, if you are a competent golfer (unlike me!) you will enjoy this course.
