The course is currently undergoing a lot of work as they look to transform it. A large amount of GUR on most holes. Not worth £20 a round and I would say £10 would be a push in the current condition.

Wike Ridge is going to be a fabulous golf course. Still very much a work in progress at the moment however this is reflected in the price. The temporary greens are very frustrating. Looking forward to returning at the end of the summer.

Played Feb 28th 2012. Rained hard day before and the course was very boggy in places.
3 temporary greens. And three holes shortened considerably. The par 4 6th (to approx 250), the par 3 11th (to a ridiculous 30 yds) and the par 4 13th (to 180yds).
Lots of work still taking place on the course so churned up turf and diggers provide some eye sores.
We booked online and only payed £10 so still provided very good value for money. The Brand new restaurant/cafe is fantastic and provided good value for money too.

Wike Ridge course is playing well as of 2nd Jan 2012. Still playing from Tee areas and full greens in play at the moment, with the greens being in very good condition this time of year.

Played the 12 hole and then the 18 hole in the afternoon. 12 hole is entertaining enough - especially the 65 yard (yes, just 65 yard) 10th which provided everyone with a great laugh.
18 hole course is just spectacular, great condition considering it's only a few years old. A couple of more years and it'll be serious competition for the nearby course. Great mix of holes although the first few holes are a bit backwards and forwards.

Was charged a normal weekday rate on a bank holiday, so very good VFM. Car park has been updated and golf shop now better stocked. Greens could do with some work as previous pitch marks on a number of holes not fully repaired.

Lovely course to play, good value fees on early bird deal, fairly easy walking but presents a decent challenge.

A well kept course not over differcult but can give you a sting if you are bit complacent, there are no winter greens but a few winter tees.open all year round.

Perfect drainage, all year round greens and tee's. Some short par 4's but nicely counter balanced with some very long par 4's. Some very noticable and enjoyable holes which keep me coming back time after time.

The golf course is kept in good condition not very challenging there are a few hills to contend with and there are a few holes with water, but nothing very demanding though i pay and play there but they keep changing the rates as they feel. best to check the cost before you go

Played on 29/1/09 - midweek cost £18.50 for 18. Course was ok but very water logged in places and poor signage. Overall course was fine and would go again but seems a little expensive especially with the competition in the area.

I played this course in May and found the course well maintained, the greens where in good condiction, the bunkers slightly worse for wear and needed refilling and its always windy.
The Green fees are good, the membership costs ok but joining fee high for a course of this standard and it seems no intention of dropping them as is becoming the norm in the area.
Overall I found most of the holes very alike and at times like groundhog day, it might be better once matured in 5-10 years time but its very much a golf course and a pub not a club.
