Langlands Golf Club
Langlands Road, Auldhouse, East Kilbride, Strathclyde, G75 9DW United Kingdom
Langlands Golf Course is located two miles south from the town centre and beyond the industrial fringes of the town. The course was opened in 1983 and has matured into a very pleasant course for all abilities of golfer to play.
As a par 70 and 6201 yards long, the course is ideal for new golfers learning the game and also experienced players enjoying a relaxed round. When the wind blows however, the course can challenge the best of players. The course boasts a strong finish with the 17th and 18th holes being demanding par 4’s which could make or break the round.Book a Tee Time

lovely little course but at nearly 18 quid a round would maybe pay couple quid extra and play a private course

This is a municiple course , but you wouldnt know it.Nice and flat if stamina is a problem.Im a relative newcomer to golf at 56 and i can get round no problem. The holes themselves are challenging, but fair. One or two wee crackers in there though.Look out on the slc site for teesavers ,whereby you get a round for a tenner as opposed to the normal 14 quid valid till march 31st 2012.Im thinking of joining the club here next season just because its an 18 hole course as opposed to 9 in hamilton where i live. Can be a bit windy esp the last 4 holes , but thats part of the fun right ? . Give it a try id say.

For a municipal course, it is in very good condition, it is kept to a decent standard, the greens are good and the fairways are kept in good condition, well worth the money for 18 good holes.

Considering the course is a municipal course and all the golfers playing it are amateur status, the fairways are shockingly tight ! It's not the US OPEN ! 15 metre wide fairways if you are lucky when they could easily cut them 30 metres wide and make it more enjoyable for amateur golfers like me. First and LAST visit, back to my other council courses thanks.

Glasgow Gailes GC 23/10/09
weather was calm for links, we played off white tees, 6535yds yellow 6322yds wish I;d played off yellow, still I realy enjoyed it forgot what links golf all about, although some holes the carry was about 200yds to reach fairways, but the saying its keep it on the short stuff, there's about 5yds-10yds semi-rough after that is gorse and heather yes I did lose some balls,
the 3 short par 3;s 152,182,152 yds standing on tees you see heather and gorse bunkers and small greens you d;nt see any sort of fairwys great target golf,
there are 74 bunkers on the course large to small deep ones if possible stay out ha ha
shot 97 51 out 46 back, cannot add round as the tees are yellow,
anybody would love this course great condition and greens superb although small with run offs
can;t wait to go and play it next summer,
in 2 weeks Iam at Gleneagles the nicholas champs
hurry up

This is a nice parkland course set in the countryside around East Kilbride. The course is in lovely condition, but I found some of the greens are quite bumpy. The fairways are generous and the course plays relatively short. There are two par fives but they are both under 470 yards from the yellow tees. There are few holes that need more than a 5 iron for your second shot, and most of them are 8/9 iron or wedge shots. However, I thought the course was very enjoyable and at £12 for a weekend round, it's great value for money.

A bit open, wide fairways makes this course less of a challenge but good for keeping your eye in and practising those shots you only try at the driving range.
