What the club says: This entertaining layout was designed by the renowned James Braid and encapsulates the surrounding landscape beautifully. It features some testing holes that require golfers to use their head more than their brawn. The final two holes provide the biggest challenge, as the 17th is a par 3 guarded by two majestic trees on either side, while the 18th has a large tree blocking the right half of the fairway and a large bunkered gully protecting the green.

Hidden Gem, quirky

Kirriemuir is well worth a visit, not too long, even off the white tips.
However, difficult little track, if it’s your first visit, try to play with a knowledgeable local. Some strange bounces, if you are not careful

Well worth the trip, and, great value, followed by fantastic food in the clubhouse

Superb

Despite somehow losing a club on the course a very enjoyable round on a very well looked after facility.

Great little parkland course that would suit most golfers. Some very short par 3's to suit the high handycaps(8th 16th). There are no par 5's but some of the par 4's can ask a lot of questions.

Loved this short course.
Greens quick, so watch those downhill putts. Fairways in good condition as were tees and bunkers all well raked with good sand. Course changes directions often (good) and views are excellent too. Friendly / welcoming club. Played it twice recently and thoroughly enjoyed it both times. Will definitely return
