The original Trustees of the Club showed courage and imagination in requesting from James Braid an 18 hole layout. Braid, the first man to win the Open Championship five times, had a prodigious talent both as a golfer and a course designer, and with a minimum of excavation work, he completed the task in four months! At 6030 yards (par 70 for men) or 5244 yards (par 72 for women), Kirkhill golf course offers a fair test of golf and unsurpassed views across the city of Glasgow. The panorama from the 6th green and 12th tees is impressive with views towards the west and Ben Lomond, north to the Campsie Fells. The brand new club house which was completed in 2005, overlooks the first tee and provides an excellent 19th hole after any round!Book a Tee Time

Very hilly course with some danger on most holes, some fantastic views over the clyde valley from south of Motherwell to west of Glasgow.

course built by james braid, a tough parkland course situated on top of a hill, especially when the wind blows.

18 Hole parkland course designed by James Braid, which is situated on the top of a hill.
All the par 3's have small contoured greens well protected by bunkers, which must be hit to allow scoring.
Very difficult back nine in windy conditions but overall a fair test of golf.
