This course is not well looked after, people have been playing shots off the greens which have suffered as a result and its clear they have a problem with local youths.

set in mid surburbia it seems, but a good course , lots of trees , and houses nearby for wayward shots, good value for money tho , you'll have to plot your way round here

nice course but clubshop always closed due to staff shortages and sometimes people dont answer the phone when you want to book a tee time .

Golf course review of Ingol Golf Course

Played this course for the first time last weekend. Like it's previously been said, navigating the course for a first timer could be difficult.

the course looks well maintained, greens were fine and the fairways were great. it was a very hot day, i don't know what the course would be like in the wet.

We'll definately be playing here again (hopefully soon).

The course in general is quite good, its just the maintainence that lets it down. To a newcomer the directions to certain holes could be very confusing and paths to other holes are very hard to negotiate.

The off course facilities are very good with friendly staff running the shop and bar.

Golf course review of Ingol Golf Course

This course lies north of Preston just off the M6 at jct 31.
Parkland course which has just changed hands which now means you can get a round for £13:50 at weekends when it used to be £35.
Suffers from the wet in winter and can be boggy in places.
During the summer a great day of golf, plenty of well placed hazards, bunkers not too bad (the odd stones here and there) well defined fairways and good greens. Also plays longer than it looks, you need to trust your yardages not your eyes.
Good clubhouse if a tad small, any functions on and your squeezed into the lower bar with a serving hatch for food and beer
If your in the area play it, you will enjoy it.

This is the best course Ive played yet, though Ive only visited 6 or 7 in the year I have been playing, so take that as it is. Well worth a round!

Buying 100 balls of three kids for a tener was a bonus. They were fishing for them in a pond on the fith.
